Privacy Policy

How MECSN collects, uses and protects personal information.

Template for legal review. This policy describes how the website works. MECSN should have it reviewed against the data protection laws that apply to it (for example Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law, the UAE PDPL or DIFC/ADGM rules, and GDPR where relevant) and add its legal entity name and address before launch.

Who we are

This website is operated by the Middle East Corporate Security Network (MECSN). Contact: contact form.

What we collect

  • Membership applications — contact details, professional information, biography, photograph, and for businesses, company, legal, licence and insurance information and documents.
  • Event registrations — name, contact details, job title, organisation and any requirements you tell us about.
  • Job submissions — the vacancy details and the submitter’s name and email.
  • Contact enquiries — your name, contact details and message.

How we use it

We use this information to assess applications, run events, publish approved job listings and respond to enquiries. We publish a member or company profile only after approval and with your separate, explicit consent. We do not sell personal information.

How we protect it

Application documents are stored outside the public media library and are only accessible to authorised MECSN administrators. Access to applications is restricted by role.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or withdraw consent to a public profile, at any time through the contact form.

Retention

We keep application records for as long as needed to manage membership and meet legal obligations, and delete unsuccessful applications after a reasonable period.
