Eligibility

Business applicants must:

  1. Be legally registered organisations operating in a relevant security-related sector.
  2. Hold valid licences and authorisations required for their activities.
  3. Comply with applicable local laws and relevant international standards.
  4. Follow responsible labour and employment practices.
  5. Respect human rights and professional ethics.
  6. Demonstrate responsible corporate governance.
  7. Respect fair competition and avoid anti-competitive conduct.
  8. Commit to transparency and avoiding bribery, corruption and conflicts of interest.
  9. Maintain appropriate insurance coverage where required for their activities.
  10. Agree to the applicable MECSN Code of Conduct.

Membership is not certification. Business membership does not automatically imply certification, accreditation or independent verification of every company claim. Any separate MECSN standards or recognition programme has its own eligibility criteria, assessment procedures and approval decisions.

How business applications are reviewed

  1. Your company submits its application with supporting documents.
  2. A MECSN administrator receives the application.
  3. MECSN reviews the information submitted.
  4. Additional documentation may be requested.
  5. The application is approved or declined by authorised decision-makers.
  6. Approved companies that consent may be published in the Business Members directory.
