Biography
Hatem Kadry is a senior security executive with over 30 years of experience in law enforcement, corporate security, risk management, and crisis management. He has held senior leadership positions at Orange Business Services and Majid Al Futtaim, overseeing security operations across Egypt, the Middle East, and Africa. He is a Founder and Board Member of the Middle East Corporate Security Network (MECSN).
Professional experience
Hatem Kadry is an accomplished security and risk management executive with over three decades of experience spanning law enforcement, multinational corporate security, loss prevention, crisis management, and business continuity.
He began his career as an officer with the Egyptian Ministry of Interior, serving for approximately 14 years before transitioning into corporate security leadership.
He subsequently held senior security and loss prevention positions at Majid Al Futtaim Retail, managing security operations, investigations, risk assessments, and asset protection across Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
He later served as Chief Security Officer for Orange Business Services across the Middle East and Africa, where he led regional security governance, physical security risk assessments, security compliance, and corporate security programs.
He currently serves as Chief Security and Administration Officer, overseeing physical security, information security, environmental health and safety (EHS), IT, procurement, and facility management.
Hatem holds degrees in Law and Police Sciences from the Egyptian Police Academy and is certified as an ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer.
As a Founder and Board Member of MECSN, he contributes extensive experience in security leadership, professional collaboration, and the advancement of corporate security standards across the region.
